This week we have been experimenting with paper, to create shapes to represent fruits.
Classes 4M, 4S, and 4R joined forces to deliver part 2 of the Year 4 radio shows last month. Inspired by the book Street Child, this show takes you back into the hard life of the Victorian era, and gives you Victorian facts, adverts, and even a news report from 1866! We had an exciting afternoon at the Hob Moor Road site today!
Riverside Performing Arts company came and performed an exciting Easter production for all of the pupils from Reception to Year 6!
The show was called “Joe’s Amazing Easter Adventure”. It shared an important message about the real meaning of Easter in a funny and interactive way.
All of the children enjoyed the show and came away knowing that there is more to Easter than chocolate eggs!
It was lovely to see all of the year groups together and a wonderful way to bring our Spring Term to an end.
Classes 4JF, 4P, and 4F let you know about the true gritty life of the Victorians today in this fantastic show, featuring a Workhouse Rap, Victorian Fact File and Phone-In Agony Aunt feature. The show was broadcast LIVE from the Bierton Road studios today. Classes 4S, 4R, and 4M are due to broadcast their show on Friday 7th April. Stay tuned for more!
Recently, year 4 went on a great trip to Walsall Art Gallery. Whilst here, we were learning about Abstract art and had the chance to create some of our own! It’s safe to say, some of us got a teeny- tiny bit messy with the paint! Take a look at our trip below:
Year 4 have been creating maths games for Year 2! They have created games where you score goals to win and games where you have to race against the computer to win!
